Welcome to the Rowan University Ice Hockey (RIH) website! Home of the Profs and a representative of the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA). The University is located in the greater Philadelphia area in Glassboro, New Jersey just over the Delaware River and just 45 minutes from the shore.
- NJ POND HOCKEY CLASSIC
Rowan Ice Hockey hosted the first ever ACHA outdoor game, held on January 9, 2010 at the Navesink Country Club. The #13 ranked Rowan played a tie with the #3 ranked UMBC in what was a great and entertaining game all the way through. The inaugural classic was a great success and it is hope to continue this annually.

- DOWN THE STRETCH
Rowan is coming down the stretch with only four games remaining, three of which are against ranked teams. The Profs are 7-2-1 in the last ten games and are hopeful they can move up from their current 13th position in the Southeast.

- UNIVERSITY NEWS
Rowan University has been expanding recently with new buildings and beautification projects and the current Quintessential College Town project called Rowan Boulevard is another great addition coming to the U. The school has also been granted a new four year medical school in partnership with Cooper Hospital. For more information on the project you can go HERE.
- UNIVERSITY NEWS
Rowan University has been ranked 22nd in the annual "America's Best Colleges" issue of US News & World Report. Up six notches from last year it continues to grow and expand to provide the best in higher learning. The Masters Program is ranked third in the North among public schools, up from fourth last year. *** NOTICE:: GAMES against Monmouth University and St. Joe's this past weekend have been CANCELED due to SNOW! Game vs St. Joe's has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 9 at 6:00 PM!!!! ***
The regular season is winding down with only two weekends remaining. The Profs have picked it up in the second half after a very slow start, with three consecutive wins and 7-2-1 in their last ten games. Now they hope to continue this into the final stretch. Rowan will be in action on Tuesday February 9 against St. Joseph's University in a playoff showdown. The game was originally scheduled for this past Saturday but because of severe weather had to be postponed. Game time is 6:00 PM. The game against Monmouth which was originally scheduled for February 5, has been moved to Sunday, February 14 at 5:00 PM.
We have encountered some technical difficulties recently with televising our games. Unfortunately the problem has caused us to strike a deal with Fast Hockey to be our sole provider. We are working toward updating our Rowan Ice Hockey Network and providing all the information our fans will need. In the meantime you can visit Fast Hockey to view our games. Stay tuned.

had their first annual Alumni Weekend in early October 2008 which was a big success. We are already organizing an Alumni Weekend 2009 which will boast a home game, an alumni game, as well a golf outing. More information will provided soon.
