Rowan enetered the 2013 Regional play hoping to have another succesfull run at nationals although it wasn't to be as the Profs lost to Liberty University 5-4 in Overtime. While Rowan controlled most of the play and looked like the better team, a bounce of a skate ended the Profs hope of |
moving on. Although the Profs season ended with a loss in overtime, the team had another great season this year with many positives. The team rode a 15 game winning streak, participated in their 4th annual outdoor classic, and continued to be ranked in the top ten throughout the year.
The Rowan program would like to thank this years seniors for their years of commitment and dedication. This year there are five graduating seniors: Goalie Brien Bennet, defenceman Erich Moen, forward AJ Zackowsi, forward JC Caulfield, and forward Eric Schenk. Good luck in the future!

Rowan participated in the 2012 D2 ACHA Showcase in Rockville, MD this past October that included teams from around the nation. Rowan was slated to play three teams that are usually not on their schedule however a late scratch by West Point meant some late changes. On |
Friday afternoon, the Profs suited up against Louisville as a first ever meeting between the two clubs. The Profs dominated the game peppering close to 60 shots and winning the game 5-0. On Saturday, the Profs faced off against Ohio State University in what was deemed the toughest of the three games and a battle for regional rankings. The game did not disappoint as both teams played well. Even with a shorter bench, the Profs scored 2 goals a piece in the 2nd and 3rd period to win by the final of 4-2. On Sunday, the Profs saw their former conference and state rival TCNJ. From the drop of the puck, most of the play was controlled by the Profs as they outshot TCNJ 55 to only 16 and a 8-1 victory. Rowan went 3-0 in the weekend play as one of three teams that went undefeated in the showcase..
