With the summer in full swing, there has been a lot of going on in Rowan Country. As preparations continue for next season, we would like to announce that starting with the 2010/2011 season, Rowan will have a second team representing the school at the Division III level. Over the last couple of seasons, the increase in enrollment at the University as well as increased interest in the program has made it possible for the addition. The new team will play in the Division III DVCHL league. More information will released at a later date, however you may check out their site HERE. Any players interested in playing at Rowan can fill out the team interest/recruiting form by following the link to the left.
On the DII front, the team hopes to release their 2010/2011 schedule shortly as they finalize some key matchups. Six weeks remain until training camp begins and this year should be an exciting one. Rowan Ice Hockey would like to welcome John Larnerd as their goaltending coach for the upcoming 2010/2011 season. The director of Fusion Goalie Development program and a former ECHL player is another great asset to the program.
