There is no question, the trophy is coming to Rowan this year. The players are older and more experienced and after last year's learning experience in the playoffs; They now know what it'll take to get the title. With the exposure that this team got from this cinderella season, it should draw more talent to the team making them stronger as well. Rowan is not far from pulling it off and if I were a betting man, I would watch out for Rowan this year. They will be a force to reckoned with.
From watching this team, as much as they don't get any credit from anyone, they are an exciting team to watch and I think they showed a few teams what they are capable so far.
This forum is completely biased. As a former player in the EJHL and USHL, I feel as though I am fairly knowledgable regarding the sport. Yet my objective( not nessessarily pro-rowan)post have been deleted. A blog should be objective and offer both sides.
I'm sure you go to a hockey school then right? Hate to break it to ya but only one school in the whole state that you can consider a hockey school if that, the rest just have programs like Rowan's! You probably don't even play hockey and nice of you to let us know where you go.

Rowan,is going to get a big shot in the arm this year, with those new freshman coming in.These players combined with the current players ,are going to put rowan on the map. So all you north jersey teams strap up rowan is coming.
I think the team and support has come a long way, they should have beat Rider, but the Rider goalie stood on his head. I think they could compete for the championship.
Hockey school it wasn't, but now it is, the freshman are here, so have no fear, the teams we play will leave with a tear.So all have been told, watch this team of brown and gold.

Rowan will do very well this year but will miss former superstars like Brendan Gittell, Steve Glick, and Brian Veasey (retire #82!!!!).
GO PROFS!!!!
Rowan is not a hockey school. Nor are they even one of the Top 5 in the state.
The only thing Brian Veasey will be remembered for is being on Doug Frank's line.
